Our little girl Addyson Lynn was born December 20,2011 at 7:38 pm Via C-section.
I was put on bed rest at 36 weeks, and Addyson was born at 39, they were afraid she was to big! Ultrasound was measuring 10.12!!! Yikes! But she came out absolutely perfect and we were instantly captivated!
Our worlds have forever changed for the better.
She has her daddy's baby blue eyes, and blonde hair it looks like is going to be. Little girl loves to eat, talk and watch anything that is going on. I joke that she is nosy, but she is so observant! Learning so much!
I have been working on making sure to document absolutely everything I can about her, because it has already gone so fast! (Four almost 5 months!)
We are a breastfeeding, and using all natural disposables through the
Honest Company.
We are striving to raise her in a God centered Christian home. Addyson is a very laid back baby, she loves to go with the flow, and just observes everything around her. She loves to smile, take baths, be cuddled, ride in the car, go on walks, talk to anyone and everyone who will listen, She is developing such a wonderful sweet personality. I know God knew what he was doing when he gave me a daughter. I love being able to dress her up, play with her hair, bows and shoes. I cannot wait to play dress up and tea parties one day. To take her to movies, and shopping, and everything wonderful that my mom and grandmother did for me when I was younger. Those memories are priceless and I can only hope to make those with Addyson, and to be half of the mother to Addyson as mine was to me!

I feel so blessed to be called her mother. We have recently started baby food, I am trying to make it for her and she is loving it so far! I have fun making it and it is so easy and cheap! We are working on sitting up on our own, and think rolling over is going to come much later, because she dislikes tummy time with a passion. She recently started giggling on her own, without being tickled or prompted, and I love the sound so much! Nothing better than hearing your baby laugh or giggle with pure joy!
She never ceases to amaze us with learning something new, or just making us smile. The love a parent experiences with a child is amazing.
I so look forward to spending the years watching her grow, and learn. She completes a part of us that we never even knew that was missing. I will continue to document our journey of parenting this wonderful little girl, as frequently as time allows. Working full time, being a wife and mommy, managing a 31 business, and squeezing everything else in at the same time can be a little hectic at times. But, I wouldn't have it any other way!
